ชมวิวพระอาทิตย์ตกดิน และทิวทัศน์อันงดงามยามค่ำคืน
ในช่วงเทศกาลปีใหม่ ๒๕๖๙ วัดสระเกศ เปิดภูเขาทองเพื่อให้นักท่องเที่ยวชมความงามพระอาทิตย์ตกดิน และความงามของกรุงเทพมหานครยามค่ำคืน จนถึงเวลา ๒๒.๐๐ น. ตั้งแต่วันที่ ๒๕ ธันวาคม ๒๕๖๘ ถึง ๑๕ มกราคม ๒๕๖๙“
โดยในวันที่ ๒๓ ธ.ค. ทางวัดจะมีการทดลองเปิดให้ขึ้นภูเขาทองถึง ๔ ทุ่ม เพื่อเตรียมความพร้อม อีกทั้งยังให้ประชาชนสามารถขึ้นไปรอชมการแสดงพลุดอกไม้ไฟ งานพลุวิจิตรเจ้าพระยา ๒๕๖๘
ภูเขาทองได้รับการยกย่องจากนักท่องเที่ยวชาวต่างชาติว่าเป็นจุดที่ดีที่สุดในการชมความงามของพระอาทิตย์ตกดิน และความงามยามค่ำคืนของกรุงเทพมหานคร

Wat Saket joins the year-end celebrations and welcomes the New Year by extending visiting hours
to the Golden Mount until 10:00 PM!
Enjoy breathtaking sunset views and the beautiful nighttime panorama.
During the New Year festival 2026, Wat Saket will open the Golden Mount to visitors, allowing tourists to enjoy the beauty of the sunset and the stunning nighttime views of Bangkok until 10:00 PM, from December 25, 2025 to January 15, 2026.
On December 23, the temple will conduct a trial extended opening, allowing visitors to ascend the Golden Mount until 10:00 PM to prepare for the upcoming period. The public will also be able to go up and wait toชม the fireworks display of the “Vijit Chao Phraya Fireworks Festival 2025.”
The Golden Mount has been praised by international tourists as one of the best spots to enjoy sunset views and the beauty of Bangkok at night.
