KMUTNB University Council officially extends congratulations to Council Members on receiving Royal Decorations for the year 2025
The Council of King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB), in collaboration with the University has organized a congratulatory ceremony for members of the University Council who were awarded Royal Decorations for the year 2025. The event was held on Wednesday 24 June 2026, at Benjarat Hall, Navamindrarajini Building. The event was attended by University administrators, Council members, faculty members, staff and distinguished guests who extended their appreciation to each of the 2025 recipients of Royal Decorations.
On this occasion, Chairman of the University Council Professor Dr. Teravuti Boonyasopon delivered a congratulatory address. He stated that the conferment of a Royal Decoration is a deeply prestigious honor that reflects the recipients’ diligence, integrity, sacrifices and dedication to serving the nation and society. Also, he acknowledged their significant contributions to policymaking and their important roles in driving sustainability across campus operations.
The Royal Decorations 2025 were bestowed upon these members of the University Council
Mrs. Poranee Leenutphong, Distinguished Member, was officially granted the Knight Grand Cordon (Special Class) of the Most Exalted Order of the White Elephant.
Professor Dr. Athakorn Kengpol , Academic Representative of the University Council, was awarded the Knight Grand Cordon (Special Class) of the Most Exalted Order of the White Elephant.
Dr. Sirithat Rojanaphruk, Distinguished Member the University Council, received Companion (Fourth Class) of the Most Noble Order of the Crown of Thailand. Previously, he had been granted Royal Decoration of the Most Admirable Order of Direkgunabhorn, a high-ranking Thai civilian decoration.
Chairman of the University Council stated that receiving the Royal Decorations represents a premier symbol of prestige, a tangible reflection of recipients’ outstanding knowledge, expertise, experience, and dedication to serving society and the nation. He also acknowledged their contributions to shaping the vision and strategic direction of the University, enabling KMUTNB to achieve institutional excellence in academic affairs, research and innovation. Consequently, the University has gained continuous recognition at both national and international levels.
