Fall/Winter 2026-2027 Women’s Collection
Voyages and journeys are moments of physical flow that leave lasting impressions and sensations, drawing dreamscapes of memories, weaving tapestries of fleeting hints of the elsewhere. The Loro Piana Fall/Winter 2026-2027 Women’s Collection meanders broadly like a Nomadic Reverie experienced through the windows of a train crossing landscapes and seasons. Effortless and precise, the silhouettes retain the impromptu quality of being put together en route, like notes and thoughts loosely jotted down on the pages of a journal.
Following this transient spirit, the collection moves seamlessly from lightness to sensory warmth, becoming more enveloping as the seasons shift and the colours mutate. Loro Piana Royal Lightness®, cashmere, silk, but also Pecora Nera® and Merino, as well as tweed, mouliné, chenille, all fabrics steeped in sensoriality – create an impasto that starts from ochre and terracotta, a palette of freedom and heat – and moves to gold, rose, and brown, the memory of sunlight – turns to beige, grey, deep brown, the tones of continuity – deepens in green, anthracite, tundra, midnight blue, hues that gather and protect – liven in coral, turquoise, sand, marigold, azure, the colours of renewal – and finally settle in black, gold, and white, the notes of celebration. It’s by way of colour that looks find their unity, either juxtaposing colour blocks or through monochromatic compositions that enhance depth, dimensionality, and a notion of the perfectly put-together.
The nomadic fluidity of the shapes heightens the distinctive Loro Piana silhouette – elongated and layered, grounded on flats and topped by decisive, abstractly exotic hats with poetic elation while reassessing a sense of dressing rooted in the reality of wearing clothes day by day. This season, the space between clothing and body breaths, with volumes that graciously liquefy. Along with a focus on the shades, garments become a canvas for prints and patterns, with paisleys and jacquard motifs, but also herringbones, animaliers and tweeds, juxtaposed eloquently. The Loro Piana roots are reassessed throughout by icons such as the Spagna, the Traveller, the Roadster and the Winter Voyager. The Rovasenda jacket, another pillar of the Maison’s lifestyle, re-emerges as a modern solution for city life and travel, inspired by a historic design worn by the family in and around the namesake Italian Piedmont village. Coats and dusters are long and flowing; cinched culottes and wide-brimmed skirts evoke a timeless femininity. Knitwear is focal, in snug and enveloping shapes, cable knit, woven with mouliné yarns for subtle nuance. Clashing materials – satin and tweed, suede, denim, and knitted fabric – introduce an air of idiosyncratic refinement, with trench coats, characterful blazers, and the bomber iteration of the signature Maremma sealing the looks. Tailoring creates a polished formal foundation. The line is crisp and structured yet enlivened by an ornate feel. Romantic hints emerge with silk-satin slips – bias-cut and adorned with lace – and rosy petal embellishment, unveiling beauty in craft. Fluidity and ease finally carry over in the eveningwear, which depicts a black-and-white portrait of elegance through sculptural lines and simple silhouettes belying intricate workmanship.
Leather goods come in the softest buttery leathers and in fabric iterations that match the collection. The Extra Softy Bag, Extra Softy Case, and Extra Pocket are rendered in leather, leather and wool, wicker and corduroy leather. The Bale, Loom and Needle Shopper are masterpieces in unstructured softness. Houndstooth patterning and checks adorn the Heddle tote. A minaudière in blown glass made in Murano celebrates both craft and invention, and the wonder of discovery. Jewellery features enamel flask pendants, stone pins and the signature cardo as earring. Shoes are satin or leather flats, and new iterations of the Nantucket sneaker.
Like landscapes blurring through a train window, colour and matter merge in a reverie that is quintessentially Loro Piana.
