• The Bend Motorsport Park เป็นสนามแข่งรถถาวรที่ยาวที่สุดเป็นอันดับ 2ของโลก และได้รับการรับรองมาตรฐานสากล FIA Grade 2 จากสมาพันธ์ยานยนต์นานาชาติ (International Automobile Federation: FIA)  โดยสนามแห่งนี้ตั้งอยู่ที่เมืองแอดิเลด (Adelaide) ประเทศออสเตรเลีย
• ในปีนี้ มิชลิน แพสชั่น เอ็กซ์พีเรียนซ์มุ่งเน้นการนำเสนอกีฬามอเตอร์สปอร์ตในฐานะ “ตัวเร่งให้เกิดนวัตกรรมที่ยั่งยืน”
• ไฮไลต์ของงานในปีนี้คือกิจกรรมเชิงปฏิบัติการด้านมอเตอร์สปอร์ต 5รูปแบบ ได้แก่ Sprint, Endurance, Rally, Motorsport Pit และ Hotlap

ในปีนี้ มิชลิน แพสชั่น เอ็กซ์พีเรียนซ์ (MICHELIN PASSION EXPERIENCE) งานสุดเอ็กซ์คลูซีฟที่จัดขึ้นเป็นประจำทุกปี ได้เชิญแขกคนสำคัญเข้าร่วมสัมผัสประสบการณ์สุดพิเศษที่สะท้อนความมุ่งมั่นอย่างแรงกล้าของมิชลินในกีฬามอเตอร์สปอร์ต ณ The Bend Motorsport Park เมืองแอดิเลด ประเทศออสเตรเลีย ซึ่งเป็นสนามแข่งรถถาวรที่ยาวที่สุดเป็นอันดับ 2 ของโลก ทั้งยังได้รับการรับรองมาตรฐานสากล FIA Grade 2 จากสมาพันธ์ยานยนต์นานาชาติ (FIA)  โดยงานในปีนี้จัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 31 สิงหาคม ถึง 12 กันยายน 2566

ในงานนี้ แขกพิเศษกว่า 400 คน ได้รับเชิญเข้าร่วมสัมผัสประสบการณ์ที่น่าตื่นตาประทับใจผ่านกิจกรรมเชิงปฏิบัติการด้านมอเตอร์สปอร์ตและการลงมือปฏิบัติด้วยตนเองหลากหลายรูปแบบ นอกจากนั้น ยังได้โอกาสรับรู้และทำความเข้าใจอย่างลึกซึ้งถึงจิตวิญญาณของมิชลินที่กีฬามอเตอร์สปอร์ตมีบทบาทเป็นตัวเร่งให้เกิดนวัตกรรมที่ยั่งยืน อาทิ เทคโนโลยีภายใต้แนวคิด Performance Made to Last ที่ช่วยให้ยางมีสมรรถนะยั่งยืนยาวนานตลอดอายุใช้งาน, การพัฒนายางล้อที่ผลิตจากวัสดุยั่งยืนในสัดส่วนสูงขึ้น ตลอดจนการใช้ข้อมูลและระบบจำลองเสมือนจริงในการพัฒนายางล้อ ซึ่งส่งผลให้การใช้ทรัพยากรและการปล่อยก๊าซคาร์บอนไดออกไซด์ลดลงอย่างเห็นได้ชัด

นอกจากพื้นที่จัดนิทรรศการภายในงานจะนำเสนอประวัติการทำสถิติของมิชลินในรายการแข่งรถชั้นนำหลายรายการทั่วโลกแล้ว มิชลินยังจัดแสดงยางรถแข่ง ซึ่งรวมถึงยางรถแข่งที่ผลิตจากวัสดุรีไซเคิลและวัสดุจากชีวมวลในสัดส่วนสูงถึง 53%, ยางรถยนต์เพื่อการพาณิชย์ โดยเน้นยางสมรรถนะสูงในตระกูล ‘ไพลอต สปอร์ต’ และยางรถจักรยานยนต์เพื่อการพาณิชย์ ได้แก่ ยางรถจักรยานยนต์รุ่นล่าสุด ‘มิชลิน โรด 6’ (MICHELIN Road 6) และ ‘มิชลิน พาวเวอร์ 5’ (MICHELIN Power 5)

ไฮไลต์ของงานในปีนี้คือกิจกรรมเชิงปฏิบัติการด้านมอเตอร์สปอร์ต 5 รูปแบบ ได้แก่ Sprint ซึ่งเปิดโอกาสให้ผู้เข้าร่วมได้สัมผัสประสบการณ์การแข่งรถระยะสั้นแบบวิ่งวนรอบสนาม หรือ Sprint ด้วยรถ Formular 4 ที่ติดตั้งยางสลิคของมิชลิน, Endurance ซึ่งผู้เข้าร่วมได้ยกระดับทักษะการแข่งรถระยะยาวแบบมาราธอน หรือ Endurance ไปกับครูฝึกขับรถแข่งมืออาชีพด้วยรถสปอร์ตซูเปอร์คาร์ ‘ปอร์เช่ 718 เคย์แมน’ (Porsche 718 Cayman) ที่ติดตั้ง ‘มิชลิน ไพลอต สปอร์ต 4เอส’ (MICHELIN Pilot Sport 4S) ยางที่มาพร้อมเทคโนโลยี Bi-Compound และให้สมรรถนะโดยรวมสูงสุด, Rally ซึ่งผู้เข้าร่วมได้สัมผัสประสบการณ์ที่น่าตื่นเต้นไปกับการขับรถแบบจำกัดเส้นทางและเวลา หรือ Rally ด้วยรถ ‘ซูบารุ อิมเพรซา ดับเบิลยูอาร์เอ็กซ์’ (Subaru Impreza WRX) ที่ติดตั้ง ‘มิชลิน แอลทีเอ็กซ์ ฟอร์ซ ที91’ (MICHELIN LTX FORCE T91) ยางรถแข่งที่มาพร้อมเทคโนโลยีการยึดเกาะล่าสุดจากมิชลินสำหรับสนามแข่งที่มีลักษณะขึ้น-ลงเนิน (Rolling Track), Motorsport Pit ซึ่งเปิดโอกาสให้ผู้เข้าร่วมได้สัมผัสการทำงานของทีมช่างในสนามแข่ง (Pit Crew) อย่างใกล้ชิด พร้อมทั้งได้ร่วมแข่งขันทำเวลาให้เร็วที่สุดในการเปลี่ยนยางล้อ และ Hotlap ซึ่งเปิดโอกาสให้ผู้เข้าร่วมได้สัมผัสความเร็วแรงสุดเร้าใจของการนั่งบนรถแข่ง ‘ปอร์เช่ จีที3 คัพ’ (Porsche GT3 Cup) และ ‘แรดิคอล เอสอาร์3’ (Radical SR3) ที่ติดตั้งยางรถแข่งของมิชลิน

This year, the annual exclusive ‘MICHELIN PASSION EXPERIENCE’ event offers invited guests the opportunity to delve into Michelin’s passion for motorsport at the world’s second longest permanent circuit with FIA Grade 2 accreditation, The Bend Motorsport Park, in Adelaide, Australia, from 31 August through to 12 September 2023.

At the 2023 event, more than 400 invitees have the chance to share a thrilling and memorable experience through a range of motorsport workshops and hands-on activities; plus gain insight into the spirit of Michelin, whereby motorsports serve as a key accelerator of Michelin’s sustainable innovation – be it in ‘Performance Made to Last’ technologies that ensure a long and safe driving experience from the first to the last kilometer; the development of tires containing more sustainable materials; and the use of data and virtual simulation in tire production, which results in a significant reduction of resource consumption and CO₂ emission.

Showcased in the event exhibition area are Michelin’s recorded history in many of the most iconic races around the world, together with the  display of racing tires (including the one comprising 53% bio-sourced and recycled materials), 4-wheel commercial tires (featuring the legendary high-performance Pilot Sport range), 2-wheel commercial tires (featuring MICHELIN Road 6, and MICHELIN Power 5).

Highlights of this year’s event are 5 workshop stations: Sprint, whereby participants have the chance to enjoy an unforgettable sprint experience with a Formula 4 car, fitted with Michelin slick tire; Endurance, where guests get to elevate their endurance driving skills with professional instructors on the Porsche 718 Cayman fitted with MICHELIN Pilot Sport 4S – a bi-compound tire that delivers maximum combined performance; Rally, whereby participants get to indulge in an exhilarating experience on a rally track, aboard the Subaru Impreza WRX rally car fitted with the MICHELN LTX FORCE T91 competition tire that provides the latest Michelin generation grip on rolling tracks; Motorsport Pit, where guests have the chance to explore the life of a racing team pit crew on the track, and compete in the wheel-changing competition; and Hotlap, an adrenaline-filled hotlap session on the Porsche GT3 Cup and the Radical SR3 cars fitted with Michelin’s competition tires.
